Your privacy matters. This policy explains what data Kairo collects, how it's used, and what choices you have. We keep it plain and honest.

what we collect

Kairo does not require you to create an account. When you use the app, we collect:

An anonymous identifier generated on your device - not linked to your name, email, or any real-world identity.
How you use the app: features accessed, taps, session activity — used to improve the product via Mixpanel analytics.
Subscription status - whether you have an active trial or paid plan, managed through Apple's in-app purchase system and RevenueCat. We never see your payment details.
Conversation content you share with the in-app AI assistant — processed to generate responses. This is not stored against any identity and is not used to train AI models.

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, photos, or health data.

how we use it

To deliver and personalise the app experience.
To understand how the product is used and improve it.
To manage your subscription and restore purchases.
To keep the app stable and secure.

who we share it with

We never sell your data. We work with a small number of trusted services to run the app:

Supabase - database and backend infrastructure.
Mixpanel - anonymous usage analytics.
RevenueCat - subscription management.
Anthropic - AI responses (Claude API). Conversations are processed but not retained or used for training.

We may also disclose data if required by law or to protect the safety of our users.

data retention

We retain anonymous usage data for as long as it is useful for improving the product. You can request deletion of any data associated with your anonymous identifier at any time by contacting us.

your choices

You can export or delete your data from the app under Profile → Data and Privacy.
You can request full data deletion by emailing us at the address below.

children

Kairo is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we become aware that we have, we will delete it promptly.

future integrations

We may in future offer optional connections to services such as Apple Health. Any such integrations will be opt-in, clearly disclosed, and this policy will be updated accordingly before they go live.

changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated within the app. Continued use of Kairo after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
